Well Inspections – Well Water Testing

Well inspections and well water testing is a necessary step in purchasing a home served by a well. Zuehlke Inspection Service, LLC holds a Well Pump Installers License which allows us to inspect and test wells for property transfers. All well water should be tested on an annual basis. For information on Wisconsin Well Water please visit: https://dnr.wisconsin.gov/topic/Wells/homeowners.html

Our well inspection includes a visual inspection of the water system, pressure tank, well cap and visible casing for compliance with the code (NR812) when it was installed. We will test the water for Bacteria, Nitrates, and Arsenic and provide our clients with a well inspection report along with water sample lab results. VA loans require a special testing kit that includes more test samples. We can also provide the required tests for VA loans as well. Many VA loans also require flow testing

Well Flow Testing

Well flow testing is a specific test that calculates how much water can be pumped from a well and water system into the home. It is important to gauge the minimum and maximum rate in which water can be pumped into the plumbing system. This calculation is based on duration, flow rate, and well water level. Well flow tests can determine if the well produces enough water to safely supply your household as well as indicate if the well pump is healthy.
